The Accord Chronicles
The Zodiac Accord
Twelve voices. One tomorrow.
Humanity has the machinery to cross impossible distances. Learning how to carry its differences is the harder journey.
Inside the universe
The future is a human problem.
The series reveals its science, history, and characters through consequence—not lectures. Every discovery changes what the reader believes is possible.
People before profiles
Twelve perspectives become lives, loyalties, jokes, failures, and earned revelations.
Travel has consequences
A-Drives, freighters, and Spiral Bridges shape economies and choices as much as destinations.
Governance begins
Sending people outward was the easy part. Living together is where the real frontier begins.
THE BOOKS
The Accord begins here.

At Belle Rive, nobody cared that I was Libra until I put a sack in the wrong place.
The correction came from a child with flour on both elbows.
“Not there.”
I had moved the sack less than a meter.
I looked at the shelf. Then at the child. Then at Sol, who had watched the entire offense and was pretending to be absorbed by a cistern reading.
“Is this a jurisdictional question?” I asked.
The child pointed to the other wall.
“It goes there.”
Sol’s mouth moved.
Not enough to count as a smile.
I moved the sack.
At Belle Rive, this was known as respecting local authority.
The continuance house had spent most of the day doing the sort of work nobody records in history because history has poor instincts. Stores had been counted. Two valves had been taken apart, argued over, cleaned, and put back together.

It was Tuesday. At 09:14:06 Court Local, the first screw struck the floor of Intake Seven. Brutus barked.
He always barked at the screws.
Across the evidence threshold, Page 77 waited in a square of pale light.
I was on my knees.
This was not, in itself, unusual. The Charter Court Central Registry had floors designed by people who believed dropped objects deserved a second career. The tiles were smoke gray, the grout was one shade darker, and every retaining screw ever issued to the Court had apparently been selected to resemble both.
“Hold the field,” I said.
The intake officer lifted one finger over the confirmation pane. “Holding.”
Brutus barked again from the outer workroom.
“He’s outside the line?” she asked.
“He is always outside the line.”
Brutus considered this slander and renewed his objection.
The evidence field divided Intake Seven neatly in two.
